SRA Tohoku launched the PJ “JUDGE” in 2016 to start research on image analysis. We will utilize the know-how we have cultivated there to support our customers’ implementation of Computer Vision AI, from defining AI implementation requirements to developing training data and supporting continuous AI learning.

Consulting for AI implementation

We determine the role you want AI to play and the purpose of building an AI system, and then proceed to refine your requirements by verifying the accuracy of the model and the necessary computing resources using real data in a proof-of-concept (PoC).

Portable AI that can be carried around

AI can be used with smartphones. You can take AI with you from the street to the work site. No special equipment is required. We propose a portable AI that can be easily introduced.

Case Studies

(headquartered in Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture; hereinafter referred to as “Tohoku Electric Power”) have jointly developed a “corrosion deterioration diagnosis system” (hereinafter referred to as “the System”) that uses AI to determine the degree of corrosion deterioration of transmission towers based on image information taken by the camera. Tohoku Electric Power Company has become the first company in the electric power industry to begin operation of a new system for the production of electricity. Tohoku Electric Power will use this system to improve the quality and efficiency of its transmission tower maintenance operations, and will continue to make firm efforts to ensure a stable supply of electric power by utilizing various technologies and knowledge.
